Where do these people get off ? Over and over again these Washington types keep showing up like bad dirty money. You throw it in the wash hoping to wash out the filth and then start over when along comes a junior senator from Illinois, illinois isnt that some kind of another agrivation "nois" or "noise" ? Anyway its all the same ole crap going around and around like a carasel. osama may be the next President of the United States but that about the only thing "united" , me thinks it is in name only ! I hear Osama say we need to get rid of the lobbyists. OK I agree with that, If it werent for lobbyists we wouldnt have so much pork barrel spending. Then Osama says what we need is for parent to turn off the television.  hahahahahaha  been there tried that back in the 60's when they said that the tv was to blame for low performace in children at school. Then in the 70's the same thing parents need to turn off the televsion, then by the 80's it was forgotten because that was the start of video games see where i'm going with this ? People are being spoon fed the same old lies in a new ly designed and marketed package ! Nothing has or is going to change for the better, Same old shit different day. "CHANGE WE CAN BELIEVE IN" where does that come from ? I think it comes from listening to the people who are in majority which is why so many try to be the majority. forget about the minority and catering to thier every Illegal Alien needs ! send them back to where they came from and keep them illegals out of here to begin with ! Are you listening , Osama ???????

  14. By cutting down YOUR particular usage ! You begin to create a SURPLUS of PRODUCT ....A surplus causes problems inside big oil companies plans. It causes market spot price to drop and those at the top of the oil heap begin to yell ...HALT THE PRODUCTION LINE ! If the line halts then we have found alternative solutions to the energy consumption we , At present, Have not done this , completely, or seriously enough for this to have occurred already.

  15. Does not buying it on Mondays, Wednesday and Fridays mean you will use less or just not buy it on those days? I don't get it.

  16. right just dont buy it , Give them a break from your wallet on a schedule you and they can rely on, even predict if they would choose.

    Comment by jim— 2008/02/26 @ 04:07 PM — (Reply)

  17. OK todays a wednsday, Dont buy gas ! If you must do so then make a commitment to be ready the next time to start following the program. If WE can all go along with not buying gas on these 3 days then the big oil companies begin to adjust thier strategies and when they forsee short fall in income they get pissed because they dont have you wallet open as much as they are used to !

  18. As I look at the Sunday Morning talk shows, I see that the message is becoming increasingly clear. 1st. Americans are willing to give a try to the first of two candidates that will be either a first woman in office or the first black in office. Then again there's McCain. Mc Cain represents business as usual, Same old same old ! Well None of them has said a word about what will be done about this high cost of transportation (fuel). But if it were for a electric car that could get me around to do what little I want or need than I for one would buy an electric ! It would allow for the fuel to be available for more who need it for the more important things like transportation of good and services. as long as my charger was a wind driven componet used for the batteries, They have those now for boats. A little prop goes spinning around as you go across the water, all the while charging your battery ! Bravo Miestro !!!! Now could you just put that in my car ????

  19. As oil hits another new record high yesterday and gas in some tourists area of california have 5.49 a gallon posted on thier pumps, Nobody is buying it. Tourism is dropping like a rock, Employers are letting people off work because they are not needed. This, to me is a sign of things to come !

    Comment by jim— 2008/03/07 @ 07:28 AM — (Reply)

  20. I hope no one bought gas today ! I have a feeling that trickle down economics is B.S.

    Comment by jim— 2008/03/07 @ 06:55 PM — (Reply)

  21. No gas buying here today Jim.

    Ed

  22. Its a tuesday and everyone should be filling up thier tanks, containers and equipment If they have not done so by Sunday. All this as a way to get out of line for a week or more. When you get out of the consumer line then you send a clear message to the oil companies that you have learned to seperate them from your wallet.
