Exxon posts 11bil dollar profit 1st Quarter, truckers threaten strike

Man says if he owned a truck he would strike with them ! Well you own a car or truck and you pay these outrageous gas prices then you to should be on strke as well ! Dont buy so much gas and the oil companies lose profits and you know how badly the oil co. hate that !

I hope all of you realise what a truckers strike will mean if it does occurr ? It means that store shelves will become empty and your supplies like fresh vegetables and meat products will not be available ! This alone is enough to bring on the rioting in the streets as people revolt in anger over the lack of normal goods and services. The only thing YOU can do is become more SELF SUFFICIENT ! Remember Americans have come a long way from the days of being self sufficient until today when we are DEPENDENT on these things that TRUCKS bring to even our DOORSTEPS ! We must ALL get back to the independence of being self sufficient. In the days of OLD, Even my grandpa would tell me YOU DONT BUY SOMETHING WHEN YOU CAN BUILD IT YOURSELF ! this includes your HOME ! When was the last time you built your own house ? Bet YOU bought it didnt you ? STOP THAT SHIT ! Dont YOU buy another tomatoe, or anything else if you can grow it on your own ! This country used to be occupied by MEN AND WOMEN who BUILT this country and all the things in it ! Now we just buy it from anyone else who makes it , Even from those who are our former enemies ! aahhh you poor bleeding heart liberals who are in positions of government, When will you become concerned with the welfare of those who elected you into office ? When they have become tired, brooke and vagrant living in cardboard boxes on the streets ?

  2. Why can't the bastards at the oil companies slum by with only 500 million in profits a quarter for a few years - for the good of the country and the world?
    Geez - they could cut prices in half and still be filthy rich.
    We should all go back to horses.

  3. Hi Dugg, Thanks for stopping by. Thats a good question ! Why cant the big oil companies make do with 1/2 the profits ? I personaly think it is against the law to gouge the citizens during wartime ! I would not be surprised that these high fuel prices is actually a payback for not allowing the big oil co. to drill in places like Anwar ! Payback for such nonsense by people like nancy Pelosi who have said things in the past as " Americans are NOT paying enough" That coming from someone in charge of leading this country in a direction conducive to our homelands economic developement for ALL of its inhabitants NOT to a select few like oil barrons !

  4. Luckily, since I don't work I don't drive but very, very little. And I still have my old 4 cylinder Nissan truck. Sadly, I sold the Harley a while back. It got nearly 50mpg and you looked way cool while saving gas. *S*
