DONT RE-ELECT ANY POLITICIAN

Dear Republican Friend,

Since taking the oath of office in January, President Obama and his liberal allies in Congress have succeeded in one area - and one area only - spending your tax dollars. With the help of Nancy Pelosi and Harry Reid, Obama has increased government spending programs and pork barrel projects that will saddle our nation with crippling debt and higher taxes for generations to come.

In just the first six months with the liberals in control of Washington, they have:

• Botched the $787 billion "economic stimulus" plan, including $3.4 million for a turtle crossing in Florida and $2.2 million to install skylights in Montana's state -run liquor warehouse - not to mention language that allowed for the AIG executive bonuses;
  
• Passed a $410 omnibus spending bill containing more than 8,500 earmarks;
  
• Proposed a record $3.5 trillion budget proposal for FY 2010 that could end up adding over $9 trillion to the federal deficit.

While so much damage has already been done, it's not too late to stop this runaway spending spree - we must elect more Republicans in the Senate in 2010. The NRSC is working hard to retake a Republican Senate majority in 2010 to stop liberal Democrats from incurring more debt and raising taxes.
