Dear Republican Friend,

It has been more than five months since the Democrat Congress passed and the Obama administration signed into law the so-called $787 billion "stimulus" package. With national unemployment rates soaring toward 10 percent and our country's deficit spiraling out of control, the Democrats' promise for "timely, temporary and targeted relief" rings hollow. Clearly, the Democrats' stimulus package has fallen short of its promise to create jobs and get our economy moving again.

Instead of growing jobs across the country, Americans have seen a slew of reports outlining the pork-barrel spending resulting from the Democrats' bloated spending bills. Your hard-earned money is being allocated to ridiculous projects such as an $18 million website, $500,000 for the installation of a traffic signal, and thousands on highway signs bragging to travelers about the Democrats' so-called "stimulus" projects in their states.
